T.I.T.U.S. Camp (Teens In Training for Useful Service) began in 2005 on the campus of Heritage Christian University. It exists for the purpose of training young people to be better equipped for Christian service. 

At T.I.T.U.S. Camp we beleive that every young person should be encouraged to develop his/her unique spiritual gifts.  For one week each summer we put 70 teens (40 boys and 30 girls) into a spiritually enriched environment where they are given the tools and training they need to better serve our Creator. 

During T.I.T.U.S. Camp the campers are given a topic to research and encouraged to prepare a lesson to be delivered on the final day of camp in a local congregation (Florence/Muscle Shoals area).  All week they receive training on lesson prep, homiletics, research, and delivery.  

The students at T.I.T.U.S. Camp also have the opportunity to take special emphasis classes (i.e. personal evangelism, counseling, youth ministry, song leading, spiritual leadership, spiritual maturity, etc.).  Each day is filled with time to study, time to praise, and time to play.  Past campers claim it is the best week of their life.

We are grateful to several local churches who sponsor these young people and allow them to use their talents.  It costs us around $10,000 to conduct the camp each year and the staff raises the money to give these teens an opportunity to attend the camp.  The only cost is a $25 non-refundable application fee.
