Spiritual Thoughts (by Bob Faulk)Most Richly BlessedI asked God for strength, that I might achieve.I was made weak, that I might learn humbly to obey.I asked for help, that I might do greater things.I was given infirmities, that I might do better things.I asked for riches, that I might be happy.I was given poverty, that I might be wise.I asked for all things, that I might enjoy life.I was given life that I might enjoy all things.I got nothing that I asked for, but everything I had hoped for.Despite myself, my prayers were answered.I am among all men most richly blessed.LET OUR PRAYER BE THIS:LORD LAY SOME SOUL UPON MY HEARTAND LOVE THAT SOUL THROUGH ME,AND MAY I BRAVELY DO MY PARTTO WIN THAT SOUL FOR THEE.LORD LEAD ME TO SOME SOUL IN SINAND GRANT THAT I MAY BE,INDUED WITH POWER TO LOVE AND WINTHAT SOUL, DEAR LORD, FOR THEE....

A Look At Our Future (by Bob Faulk) We hold it within our hands. Will we do something with it, or will it be an empty future? There are three things that we must vow to endeavor to keep in mind concerning Christ, His Church and our relationship. In Christ Only Is There SalvationJohn 4:16: “Jesus saith unto him “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh unto the Father but by me.”Acts 4:12: “Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is none other name…..” That Christ Was Sinless And Our Example I Peter 2: 21: “……Christ also suffered, leaving us an example that we should follow his steps.” I Am Not My Own, But Belong To ChristI Samuel 30:13: “And David said unto him, “To whom belongest thou?” WE EITHER BELONG TO CHRIST OR WE BELONG TO SATAN! Man is constantly yielding to one thing or another. Each day we are either choosing or refusing to follow Christ. No one can predict the future, but everyone can adequately prepare for whatever the future might bring. For it is today that...

Living the Sermon on the MountFor the past week I’ve been immersed in the Sermon on the Mount and an in-depth Bible study. I’ve studied it forward, backward, and upward. I’ve listened to 15 different speakers deliver messages on it. And, in the end I’ve tried to challenge myself to find a way to live it every single day. To help myself I’ve made a checklist. Then, I thought you might like to see it and possibly join me in this challenge. Read Matthew 5-7 and then consider the following check-list:[] I will practice the beatitudes (vs. worldly attitudes) 5:1-12[] I will recognize tastefulness (vs. blandness) 5:13[] I will seek out the light (vs. the dark) 5:14-16[] I will notice Jesus sought to fulfill the law (vs. destroy) 5:17-20[] I will understand the danger of anger (vs. murder) 5:21-26[] I will be aware of lust (vs. just adultery) 5:27-30[] I will teach divorce for adultery (vs. no fault divorce) 5:31-32[] I will not confuse my oaths or swear (vs. foolish vows) 5:33-37[] I will realize the need for...
